Description
EZ Loader “G15” 80BS 14’–17′ • 2,000 lb Base Model (Galvanized)
What this trailer is built to do
The EZ Loader 80BS 14’–17′ (2,000 lb) is a galvanized, single-axle bunk trailer designed for the boats people use every week. It supports many small fishing boats and skiffs, plus a wide range of shallow-V and modified-V hulls. As a result, it’s a strong choice for creeks, rivers, backwaters, and rough public ramps where the trailer needs to load straight and tow steady.
Bottom line: this model keeps things simple. You get a galvanized frame, spring suspension, and two adjustable carpeted bunks you can align to the hull for a centered, predictable tow.
Why the 80BS works in the real world
Small boats can be harder to trailer than big boats. Hull shapes vary, and “close enough” often turns into poor loading or an off-balance tow. That’s why this platform focuses on correct bunk support and proper setup.
- First, two adjustable carpeted bunks let you tune hull support for flat, shallow-V, and modified-V bottoms.
- Next, a galvanized frame with galvanized adjustable hardware helps the trailer hold up to repeated wet-ramp use.
- Because it uses spring suspension on a single axle, it smooths out road shock and improves tow feel.
- Meanwhile, submersible LED lighting keeps visibility high at the ramp and on night tows.
- Finally, an adjustable winch post helps set bow position for cleaner, more repeatable loading.
Fitment notes (what we verify before you buy)
Many owners shop “14–17 ft” and stop there. However, correct fit also depends on how your boat sits and loads. So we confirm your measurements and your real running weight (fuel, batteries, gear, and motor).
Legacy reference: On prior 411Marine fitment notes for the 80BS platform, a common D-ring to drain-plug working range was shown around 13’2″ minimum to 16’6′ maximum. That range is a guide only, and we still confirm your specific boat before final match.

What we do differently (the 411Marine legacy)
Most trailer problems are setup problems. So that’s where we stay involved. If loading changes, you add gear, or you want upgrades, we’ll help you get it dialed back in.
To do that, we may ask for photos and a few extra details. That way, we can confirm what’s happening and give you the right next step. There’s almost always an answer—we just need the right questions to get there.
- For example: fitment and adjustment help (bunks, winch stand, bow stop position)
- Also: balance guidance (boat position and tongue weight feel)
- Plus: ramp tips (shallow ramps, slick ramps, broken ramps, crosswind loading)
- And: parts and upgrade support (lights, bunks, winch parts, guides, jacks, hardware)
- Next size Up: 90BS 14-18 2300
