Magic Tilt Tandem-Axle Aluminum Boat Trailer — 13,500 lb. GVWR
Built for large center-console, offshore, and deep-V boats, this heavy-duty Magic Tilt aluminum trailer combines substantial carrying capacity with adjustable hull support and electric-over-hydraulic braking.
This trailer is currently set up for a 2027 Scout 288 Center Console. Its adjustable bunk system also allows it to be properly matched to many shallow-V and deep-V boats ranging from approximately 25 to 28 feet, subject to hull measurements, weight, balance, and fitment verification.

Electric-Over-Hydraulic Disc Brakes
This trailer is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes on both axles and an electric-over-hydraulic Hydrastar brake actuator system.
The braking package includes:
- Hydraulic disc brakes on all four wheels
- Eight-lug brake and hub configuration
- Combined braking component capacity rated up to 16,000 lbs.
- Hydrastar electric-over-hydraulic actuator
- Battery-backed emergency breakaway system
The electric-over-hydraulic system provides responsive braking performance while allowing the tow vehicle’s compatible electric brake controller to operate the trailer’s hydraulic disc brakes.
Extended Tongue and Bow Support
The trailer tongue is approximately one foot longer than a standard configuration. This additional length provides clearance for the boat’s windlass, anchor, and winch-stand arrangement.
The bow support system includes:
- Adjustable winch stand
- Heavy-duty V-stop
- Gray non-marking V-stop pads
- Additional clearance for windlass and anchor equipment
- Fixed 2-5/16-inch coupler
The extended tongue may also improve clearance between the tow vehicle and bow area during tighter turns, depending on the final boat position and tow-vehicle configuration.
Adjustable Main Bunks
The hull is supported by large, adjustable treated-pine bunks measuring approximately:
- Length: 12 feet 4 inches
- Width: 10 inches
- Thickness: 4 inches
The bunks are fully carpeted to provide broad hull support and help protect the boat’s finish during loading, unloading, and transport.
The adjustable bunk system allows the trailer to be configured around the hull’s running surface, lifting strakes, chines, transducers, and other underwater equipment.
Adjustable Target Bunks
The trailer also includes adjustable target bunks mounted on aluminum crossmembers.
These target bunks help:
- Center the boat during loading
- Guide the hull into position

Final positioning should be completed around the specific hull shape and loading characteristics of the boat.
Rear Loading Guides
Adjustable rear loading guides are included to improve alignment during launching and retrieval.

These guides are especially helpful when loading in wind, current, poor visibility, or on steeper ramps.
